A Taste of Florida

Madeira Beach
I always get a peaceful feeling watching the sun set over the water.

Citra, Florida
There is such beauty in Nature, and a few oddities such as this very tall palm near The Orange Shop in Citra, FL.

Hubbard's Marina - John's Pass
What great advertising!

Breakfast at Nina's Cafe
It's important to start your day out right.

Fried clams and french fries at the Sea Hag
So you can eat like this later.

Feeding the Pelicans

These birds have a good thing going here.  They know when the fishing boat comes in and flock in to await lunch.

Thanks for joining me as I look back on some of the "kodak moments" of our vacation.

  1. Thank you for sharing, Linda. :) Looks so fun and warm! What I wouldn't give to climb through the computer screen and have some of that breakfast! This is revitalizing with the cold and snow we have going on right now.

    The photos are fabulous!

  3. OH MY GOODNESS! I love your pictures! That breakfast... Yum... and lunch? DOUBLE YUM! When I am at the water's edge I am at peace... your sun/water picture reminded me that soon enough, summer will once again be here!

  6. Talon- Thank you. It was a great trip, it was later than usual, and therefore a bit cooler. In spite of a few cold nights recently, our winter is rather mild thus far. No snow yet.

Nicky- That's my reaction when I look back at the pictures. Good times!

Katherine- Ah, so you liked our lunch? I did too. Good fried clams are hard to find outside of the North.

Edmund- Glad you like the pics and thanks for the info.

Bing- Happy New Year to you, too. That solitary palm tree really stood out. I don't think I've ever seen one that tall.
