What a view! The poem does great justice to what you've captured with your image.
nice..i love the mountains...they make for a beautiful backdrop...nice capture...
Lovely words for a lovely photo. You really captured the look of those mountains..."smokey shadows."I'm pleased to see you are writing for dVerse poetry. Jannie Funster and Talon (I think) also write for this site. Good for you!!!Have a great day:~)
Lovely match of words to scene. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful image and words. I know there are people who live where there are no mountains, but I never have and can't begin to imagine it. I'm looking out on the beautiful mountain range that surrounds me right now and feeling safe in the palm of its hand.
Aida Bode- Thank you. Looking at the picture, the poem practically wrote itself.Brian- The mountains were gorgeous, even through the fog we had that morning.Sara- Thank you. They do look smokey, don't they? I was happy to find another link up site for poetry.hedgewitch- Thanks!Jayne- There are some smaller mountains within an hour's drive, but this picture was taken near Charlottesville, VA. I took a lot of pictures, so I'm sure you'll be seeing more mountains here.
i wanna run and run and run through that gorgeous field, all the way to the top of the highest mountain there!xoxo
