Chaos

It is day 20 of the Third Second Annual 30 Minus 2 Days of Writing challenge hosted by Nicky and Mike at We Work for Cheese and today's prompt is Chaos.  For more chaotic tales check out WFCC.

This is my brain on 30M2DoW.  When you write it like that it sounds like some deadly chemical or a drug used for mind control.  Oh no! Anyone know if there's an antidote?

Troubled brain
Clogged up
Bogged down
No refrain

My eyes close

Freaking
Shrieking
Panic grows

My eyes open

Blinking
Thinking
Start again

  1. I'm afraid there's no antidote. The only upside is after 28 days we'll all be in the same institution together. Did I say upside?

  3. This is a wonderful poem!!!! I loved it. As you know, I read aloud and this one has just the right rhythm. My foot tapped along with my voice. It was fun to read and moves like a fast running river.

You should write more poetry, my friend!

  4. I like the poem. It's so true.

I hope the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a freight train!

  5. Loved the poem! Sounds like some "Braino" might help to break up the clog :) And just wait till you get older and it takes a lot longer to get anything to happen! I can think of anything----if you will give me about a week! :) Anyway, I really enjoyed the poem!
