There are very few monsters who warrant the fear we have of them. - Andre Gide

Like the snake, many things are not nearly as bad as we give them credit for being. Taking a closer and objective look at our fears may help us to slay the monsters behind them.
So true, Linda. We just have to be brave enough to get up close and personal with those fears and see what it's really all about.
ReplyDeleteVery true- but still, you couldn't PAY me to get close to a real snake!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's true but I'm glad it's not me who is holding that snake.
ReplyDeleteTalon- That's right. We need to look them straight in the eyes and conquer them.
ReplyDeleteMeleah- I guess that's one of your monsters.
Hilary- I'm not afraid of most snakes, but I don't want to hold one either.
I always tell myself that when faced with a spider. After all, I am huge in comparison and only have '4 legs'. How horrible I must look.
