Nice poem Hilary. I didn't the initial fall. I heard it, knew what had happened because I was expecting it. Saw Sophie there beside the overturned box trying to figure out just exactly what went wrong and why she was so unceremoniously dumped on the floor.
Nicky- Thank you - she is and the boys both love her. She was a bit startled, but not hurt in the least.
Jayne- When Dood lived outside, he used to like to sleep on my car. One day I happened to be looking out the window watching him when he slid off the side. He was a bit surprised.
Talon- I'll have to show her his picture. She already had two admirers, but I'm sure there's room for another.
Meleah- That's the way of cats. Give the girl a box and she makes it her castle.
Hilary- Sophie thanks you for the compliment. I don't know just how long she was there. I went back to my desk, and later heard it just in time to stand up and see her and the upside down box on the floor.

ReplyDeleteI love this Haiku and it's so true of cats. Aggie does the same thing, but sometimes she takes a tumble like Sophie:~)
