Gray Days

Once upon a time in the land of trolls, unicorns were revered, and the brilliant blaze of the morning sky meant safe passage.  Gray days were to be feared for that is when the trolls came out of their hidden lairs beneath the bridges. Woe unto anyone who dared venture forth on a gray day.

  3. lol - I'm glad I don't live in the land of trolls, Linda, or I wouldn't have been able to get out for the last week or so for fear of troll attacks :)

Fun 55! You brightened my grey day!

  4. Linda...
In Michigan, we have the Wonderous Mackinac Bridge connecting the Upper Peninsula and the Lower Peninsula. Us folks that live in the Lower are referred to as 'Trolls'. Because we live 'Under the Bridge'!

  5. Hi Linda .. the ghostly figure coming out of the mists, as each haze sheet spreads its grey glaze across the landscape .. troll or human - sending deadly beating hearts afluttering ..

It's that time of year .. or sleet and cold! Cheers .. great descriptions .. Hilary

  6. Maybe that explains why I don't like going out on grey days!

  7. Brian- You never know what will step out of the mist.

Hilary- The gray days are all right...sometimes.

Talon- Yesterday was definitely a gray day here, but still we ventured out.

G-Man- I've heard of the upper and lower peninsulas. I take it you are in the latter.

Meleah- They're OK sometimes, but I prefer fair weather.

    Mama Zen- Thank you!

Hilary- Mostly just rain here, and plenty of it yesterday.

Anji- Yes, you must beware the trolls.
