Where Did All The Words Go?

No words anywhere, nothing, zip, nada.  Where did they all go?  Was it something I said?  Have I taken them for granted?  Maybe they're all in hiding, deep in the night in the furthest crevasses where light never reaches. Maybe they're being held prisoner and being forced to make sentences.

Please help find the words.

  3. Linda,

I liked this one. It's very clever and something I've felt many times. I think you expressed "writer's block" superbly."

    Great 55, Linda:~)

  4. Linda, it's the times when the words are absent that I always think they are bubbling, just under the surface, waiting to erupt.

    Awesome 55!

  6. I felt just like this earlier in the week and then I came up with one of my best posts yet. I don't understand it either-but every time words fail me I'm afraid I've written all I have to write and then magically-they come back. Every time:)

  7. Very eloquent! I've felt that same way on too many occasions, but never found the words to describe it. :-)

  8. Nicely done. A proper search for inspiration is often inspiration enough.

  10. Oh, yes. I get this one!

One thing I've always believed in is that, when you have nothing to write about, write about having nothing to write about! :)
