Quote of the Week

Why not go out on a limb?
Isn’t that where the fruit is?
- Frank Scully

Some things are worth the risk, and if you never take the chance you won't reap the rewards.

However, if you sit too close to the end of the bench, it can flip on you, and you end up on the ground.  Oops!

  1. I am going out on a limb this winter... I have been carrying a small notebook with me to jot down all my thoughts on a book I plan to start. Lots of notes... I'm ready!

  2. Hi Linda - we need to try things and not follow the same old path, or sit on the same old bench .. that one looks a little dodgy though ..

Cheers - explore and try ... Hilary

  3. LOL I love the picture with the quote:~)

I like the quote. It's true. You never what you will discover about yourself unless you take some risks.

However, sitting on the edge of that bench must have been quite the surprise:~)

  5. Katherine - Good for you! I wish I had enough thoughts together for a book. Keep us up to date on your progress.

Hilary- Oh, the bench is fine...very sturdy actually. Just don't sit on the very end.

Sara- Yep, doing the same things all the time never advances your skill set or bring new rewards. I've come close to flipping it before.

Jayne- You never know what you can do until you do it. I do know better than to sit at the very end. Fortunately I didn't have far to fall...and the bench didn't fall on me. That would have been unpleasant.
