Quote of the Week

We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies. - Roderick Thorp

How often do we criticize ourselves even more harshly than we do others?  It is important to be kind to ourselves.  The Golden Rule tells us to do unto others as we would have them do unto us.  Well, maybe we should do unto ourselves as we would have others do unto us.

So go forth and be your best own best friend and enjoy the company.

Oh, yes. I am definitely my own worst enemy and my toughest critic. I think I need to give myself a break!!

  2. I used to beat my self up over losing a Hockey game. That's insane. There are 14 other guys responsible too.

People have been very nice to me on my blog. They tell me that I'm funny and I think some of them mean it.

    Makes me happy.

  5. I, like the others, consider myself my harshest critic. It's so easy to expect perfection in all that you do but not realistic to achieve it.
