To create more positive results in your life,
replace 'if only' with 'next time'. - unknown
It is universally accepted that we can't change the past. However, we don't need to carve those 'if only' moments into stone. From every 'if only' moment we have learned something that can help us change the outcome next time.
If only I could do that :))
ReplyDeleteI had to really think that one out. Then I remembered something in the past that turned out pretty awful and thought, "next time..." It really does put a better twist on it.. thanks!
ReplyDeleteBabs - See, there are "if only's" everywhere!
ReplyDeleteKatherine - It makes you remember what you learned in order to make it turn out better the next time around.
That's a good quote. I need practice it a lot more. I liked your line, "we don't need to carve those "if only" moments into stone."
ReplyDeleteNicely said:~)
Sara- We all need to practice it more. Sometimes all that is required is a minor change to create a better "next time".
