A Tropical Paradise

This is Day 7 of the 2017 edition of the 20 Days of Chill writing challenge hosted by P. J. at A ‘lil HooHaa. Today's prompt is Dream Winter Vacation. Please visit the other participants for more stories.

What would be my dream winter vacation?
Blue skies, beautiful waters and soft breezes.
Quaint little tables beneath swaying  palm trees.
Fruity tropical drinks in coconuts with little umbrellas.
Peaceful days and blazing sunsets.
A tropical paradise.

  1. yes, this is almost what I like my vacation to be except no water, not a big of the beaches but sitting anywhere quietly and just enjoying the breeze is something I like doing & if there books to read, even better.

    have a lovely day.

    1. I'm definitely a beach gal, and that is how I recharge. I do like peace and quiet when I want to relax and enjoy nature.

  4. OK, so despite my post with this theme being the polar opposite, I could totally deal with this, too. :)

    1. Yes your post is the "polar" opposite. ;) I would have thought folks in the northern climes would gravitate to warmer regions. Here we just have a mixture. We just had a round of snow and subfreezing temps, but the next two days in the mid 60s, and the 50s the rest of the week. Even in the cold winters, we usually have a "January thaw".
