A New Season

Oh how we love pumpkin season. You did know this gourd-ish squash has its own season, right? Winter, Spring, Summer, Pumpkin.... We anxiously anticipate it every year. -Trader Joe’s Fearless Flyer, October 2010

Hawks Pumpkin Patch
Move over roses - everything is coming up pumpkins! It goes beyond pies, muffins and lattes. There are pumpkin spice marshmallows, English muffins, bagels, cream cheese and yogurt, but it doesn't stop there. There is even a pumpkin spice kahlua. Want more pumpkin?   1. Hi Linda - you've gone bananas for pumpkin ... we have lots here and I'm sure there are fests and lots of new recipes will be forthcoming ... looks autumnal though .. cheers Hilary

    1. Well someone has gone bananas for pumpkin anyway. For me, I like pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread and most especially pumpkin roll. Enjoy the autumn season!

  2. Those pumpkins, all setup in squares is such a great way to display them. I like it better then the pumpkin patch.

    1. We rode past the other day when they were putting them out. I imagine it is quite a chore to get them all aligned just so.

  4. Oh I am SO SO SO a pumpkin girl! It's funny because I always liked pumpkin pie as a child but I didn't LOVE pumpkin. Now... LOVE LOVE LOVE!
