Quote of the Week

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. - Rabindranath Tagore

Sunsets are like snowflakes, no two are alike, because no two clouds are alike.  Even those that brought forth rain or storm, when spent, will glow peacefully as the sun bids us good night.

  1. I love the clouds, unless it's what I call blanket clouds. They are boring.

  2. I, too love clouds. I still stare at them to find shapes just like I did when I was 5. I am mesmerized by there ever changing shapes. So beautiful.

  3. Babs - Blanket clouds, overcast, dull gray days...boring indeed.

Cheryl- We are on the same wave length. I love clouds, too, no matter their personality, i.e., stormy, fluffy, wispy, etc.

  4. Such a calming message with this quote. I liked it and needed it. JC and I cleaning closets this week. It's quite the challenge as we both have tons of junk and paper stuff to get rid of. But we're both taking a break -- me to blog and JC to practice golf:~)

I hope you will be warming up soon. We're supposed to get cold again at the end of this week. It's kind of bad as all my plants are emerging from their winter slumber. Hopefully, we'll stay above freezing!!!

  5. I love a cloudy sky. It's like watching a living painting...especially at sunset. Gorgeous photos, Linda. Hope all is well.

  6. Sara- There is always something calm and peaceful about a sunset. Time for rest. Our weather is up and down like a roller coaster. Saturday was Spring and yesterday was Winter again.

Talon- Thanks! All is well here. Hope Spring is on it's way to you.
