Quote of the Week

Argue for your limitations and, sure enough, they're yours.
- Richard Bach

Arguing for your limitations is like betting against yourself, and when you bet against yourself you never win.  We are quite often our own worst enemy, so do yourself a favor - believe in yourself and be your own best friend.

  1. Hi Linda .. so so true .. it's that positive take that we can do things .. and if we're unsure .. ask for help to do it - because WE CAN ..

Cheers - me I'm a believer!! Happy week .. Hilary

  2. If we thought we couldn't achieve something, my dad always used to say, "There's no such thing as can't" I guess he was saying much the same thing.

  6. I couldn't agree more and have, in fact, recently written a post about this subject that I haven't put up yet since its voice is so different from my usual fare.

My mother used the phrase "There's always a way" all my life. It was, perhaps, her greatest gift to me.

  7. Hilary- It is important to remember no matter what "you can do this".

Babs- I think my mom used to say that too. I am glad to hear that you're going to continue blogging. I love your stories.

    Meleah- Thank you!!!

Hilary- Rosie thanks you for the compliment. And I thank you for the birthday wishes.

Sara- Thanks, I'm glad it helped!

Jayne- My mom used to say "where there's a will, there's a way". Kind of the same thing. I read your post on She Writes. Is that the one you are talking about? Very postitive! I love to watch the hawks, too.

Talon- Wise words and ones we should take to heart daily.
