Shall we dance? |
The more chance there is of stubbing your toe, the more chance you have of stepping into success.

Through risk comes success, so don't be afraid of stubbing your toe. In fact, by taking risks you come away with more opportunities to succeed. Remember, it is only failure if you fail to get up.

So true...the risk is worth it. :)
ReplyDeleteThe bigger the risk, the bigger the rewards! Stubbing your toe is okay, breaking your leg is probably going too far!
ReplyDeleteLinda -- what a picture!!! I like what you said about risk. I know I've been falling on my butt a lot lately, but so far I am getting up. Let's just hope I continue to.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this quote:~)
YEs I agree it's only failure if we fail to get up...
ReplyDeleteLovely cats
Talon- Indeed they are.
ReplyDeleteLinda- I've stubbed my toe a plenty, both literally and figuratively.
Sara- I got lucky with that picture. We all fall sometimes, but I suspect you will keep right on getting up.
Dulce- Thanks, I'll pass on the compliment.
How true Linda .. I'm constantly failing .. but keep plodding on and learning .. now if I was a pussy-cat I could dance and prance!
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary
you mean I HAVE to stub my toe to become successful? No wonder I haven't done so, I've always tried to avoid stumbling and stubbing toes.
ReplyDeleteHilary- We stumble and sometimes fall, but we get right back up and go again, don't we? One never stops learning.
ReplyDeleteFriko- Toe stubbing not required. ;) Just the will to get up and try again. I'm sure you've had plenty successes.
I like that perspective -- "it is only failure if you fail to get up." I'm always so focused on the end result that I lose sight of that piece.
