Watching the Waves

My connection to the earth is reinforced
through the rhythm of the waves. - Mike Dolan

St. Augustine Beach, June 2015

I often refer to this as recharging my internal batteries. To sit and gaze at the ocean relaxes both body and soul. Maybe it is the rhythm of the waves, or the layers of sand, water and sky, or the life-sustaining power of the ocean. Whatever the cause, the effect is the same.

  1. One of my favorite saying is, "I go to the sea to breath!"
Oh, don't you just love the fresh, clean smell of the ocean? I do!

  3. Thanks Sara! I got a number of good pictures of the sunlight on the water, the clouds and one amazing sunset. In fact it was the only great sunset that week because of the previous lack of clouds. I have never seen less clouds in Florida.
