Quote of the Week

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

    1. Hilary, I didn't paint the town green either. Had a wine club meeting tonight. We had 50 shades of green at the Y this morning, though.

  2. No plans but you just reminded me to put on a green shirt anyway. :)

    1. I remembered at the last minute to wear a green t-shirt to the Y. It was a sea of green.

  3. Hi Linda,
Love the quote - thank you! I'd completely forgotten it was St Patrick's day' which is probably just as well, or I might have gone off on a Yeats tangent! By the way, I've always liked your 'click if you don't have time to write' box - such a good idea, like a friendly wave and a smile or a thumbs up! I'm sorry I don't comment often, but as with Hilary's Blogger site, I'm not keen on logging into my old google account every time I want to comment; I usually lose my comment once or twice before I remember to log in first, then I forget to log out and get google tracked.

    1. Hi Janice, thanks for visiting Roses to Rainbows. I got the click box from another blogger who thought it would be nice to able to "like" a post similar to Facebook. Anyway, thank you for reading. Knowing that I am not "talking to myself" makes a difference.

  4. That's a great quote! I use the last part. I need to make it my mantra. The last couple of weeks have challenging and I apologize for not being here as much as I wanted to. I totally missed St. Patrick's Day. Jim fixed a special meal and that's when I remembered:~)

I hope all is well with you and that Jim is back home!

    1. All is well! Jim is away this week but back home Friday. I think this is a good quote/saying for all of us. I hope your challenges aren't too serious. Take care!
