Quote of the Week

Best friends: it’s a promise, not a label. - Unknown

Nowadays, there are labels for everything, and those labels come and go and change with the times. Best friends do not, and like the picture, it's a simple concept that stands the test of time.

So BFF or bestie, buddy or pal, your best friend is someone who always has your back.

  1. So true. A promise that is always kept.

  2. I completely agree. I have a friend whose "Best Friend" (and they truly were) shared some text messages with my friend's daughter that should never have been shared... it was venting from one best friend to another. And now the family is torn apart. Not a true friend!

  3. Very true and often hard to keep. I have a friend I've known since 9th grade and we were out of contact for awhile, but slowly are re-establishing our friendship.

I read the comment above. I think sometimes this is a problem with our ability to do something quickly without thinking. I don't know this situation, but I do know our immediate access to communications can get anyone in trouble. Look at Twitter and how many people have regretted a "tweet" they sent. But we can't go back...so:~)
