Artistic Rosie

Rosie was feeling a bit artistic today.  He went from this...

To this...in four easy steps.

It's amazing what you can create with a digital image and some computer software.

You can make your own customized digital artwork.  Just choose your photograph, add one or more special effects to create a colorful design.

For this I used Paint Shop Pro, and layered the textures of mosaic antique and soft plastics followed another application of mosaic antique and finally applied the kaleidoscope as the finishing touch.

What interesting things have you done with your photographs?

  2. I've done all sorts with my photos, but never that. Who would have thought it was a cat? :)

  3. Hi Linda .. that's amazing - cat to mosaic in a few taps of a button!

Getting my photos into some order takes some doing for me! Cheers Hilary

  5. Meleah- Thank you! It's fun to play around with...just eats up too much time when I should be doing something else.

    Like the "apples".

Babs- Yeah, I like the results. Looks like one of those mosaic floors in some fancy building.

    Timothy- Thanks!

Hilary- It's fun to see what you come up with. I've got a lot of photos (digital and otherwise) that need organizing.

Cheryl- Thanks. And Rosie says thanks too. He had just been licking on a chicken can when this was taken. Makes him look like a greaser.

  6. Wow. That is so cool. I have never tried that. Thanks for the tip. :-)

I love to play around in Photoshop, changing the contrast, sharpness, lighting and so on. Smudge a bit here and there. It's fun to see how a photo can look so much different than the original after a few clicks. ;-)

  7. It is fun to play with filters. Although I like Rosie's face just a wee bit better than the mosaic of it. Still, I do know the fun of playing with pictures:~)
