Quote of the Week

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.  -Rabindranath Tagore

Sunsets are like snowflakes, no two are alike.  It is amazing to sit and watch the evolution of the sunset.  It is a constantly changing scene in slow motion.

The clouds that create the spectacular sunsets are like the people and things that move through our lives shaping each day moment by moment.

  3. Babs- So do I, and the beach provides an obstacle free canvas.

Meleah- Me too, but I see more sunsets than sunrises.

Hilary- Thanks. I thought there was more to the quote than colorful sunsets.

Nicky- Thank you! That was taken at Madeira Beach, FL, which is why I haven't been around as much lately.

  4. I love the picture, but I guess that's no surprise. It looks like another kingdom...one that's only visible at sunset. You just get a quick glimpse of it and then once the sun moved down; it's gone.

Your interpretation of the quote is also well done, especially the part about people and how they shape our lives, even as they disappear, like a sunset. Well written!

  5. Sara- Thanks! We love sunsets, and the ones over the ocean are some of the best. We did think this looked like a city skyline.
